    Coolermaster vs. thermaltake

    Hi all,

I was going to buy the Coolermaster 830 stacker but heard a few bad reports
on it and they recalled it back 3 times. meantime I found another case
the Thermaltake Kandalf Tower case and it looks really nice and wondering
    which one should I buy?

I had the stacker 830 on my list. I also had the Thermaltake Armor Series on my list.

But in the end, I've decided to go with the more conservative looking Cooler Master STC-T01 - the original stacker....for far less money than the 830.

I like the way the 830 looks, BUT it has a door that i would have open most of the time. The Armor was cool as well, but I wanted it mainly for all of the drive bays and it's size....it has those stupid looking 1/4 doors on it - what the heck is the point of those.....

So I'm going with the cheaper and just as useful STC-T01...and using the extra cash for other more important things.

What is the case on the left? Assume an Antec model.

Chenming makes that style case for both Chieftec and Antec, along with Thermaltake, Coolmaster, and others.

Have you seen Tai-Chi or any of the new TT cases? Better yet do you own any? I had so many cases that I can tell you your statement is BS.

Do I own a TT? Never.

Only Lian Li, CoolerMaster or Silverstone.

    TT is flashy, flimsy junk.

I've built many pc's & worked on even more.....I haven't seen the latest TT's (anything new in the past 3-4 months) but I've seen enough to avoid them.

Thanks all, for your great info

I have bought the Coolermaster 830 Stacker it looks awesome I have 7 coolermaster led
fans in it but unfortunately thats all?

I was looking at the P5N32SLI deluxe, Pcpower and cooling psu, 2gig Corsair ram,
    Leadtek Winfast 7800GTX 512, Intel950cpu

Any suggestions on hardware compatability would be good

I don't think it's right to comment on something you haven't owned. I have a Thermaltake Tsunami and it's one of the better cases I've owned. Thermaltake has come a long way in their quality.
