Re: AMDMB Members' Recently Purchased Items Thread

I just picked up a 19" LCD, SONY HS95P. Got a good deal on it from COMP USA. It was originaly priced at $449 and was on clearence for $289 with a $40 mail rebate.

Specs aren't the best (12ms response time and 550:1 contrast ratio) but I love the look and picture quality. Most LCD's come with a lower response time than 12ms but my 17" NEC 1760v was 16ms and was and still is a great gaming LCD.

I picked up a new 320GB Seagate SATA drive with the new Perpendicular Technology for the Egg from just under $100 shipped. I'm really liking it so far.

I bought another Logitech RX-300 optical mouse for the Warden, she wanted a MX-510 or MX-518, but they are too expensive. Of course for myself I bought a RX-1000 lazer mouse for a travel mouse with my work laptop. I got a HDD tester and a 25' Cat 6 patch cord.

I just bought a Nikon D80 to replace my D70 (see the trading post). It arrived on friday, and I haven't had a chance to put it through the paces yet. It does look like the ISO noise is significantly worse than the D70, though.

Went a little crazy with E-Bay, got a 2600 Mobile to replace a 2800 Sempron in my 2nd EPoX Socket A machine, The Sempron will go in place of a old XP2100 (I bought it from Google Gear) in a ABIT KV7 and the 2100 will Languish. I got a Gigabyte 9600XT for the EPoX and a ATI X800GTO for my UL8 project. I think I have done enough damage for today.
