Gigabyte 7NNXP - Mobile XP/1 GB Corsair XMS XL 2-2-2-5-1T 211x11.5 = 2426.5
2 Raptor 74GB in Raid 0 (tried not doing raid, no better on OC)
Vantec Aeroflow
Dell 2005 FPW on a XFX 7800GS 440/1300 (card be here tomorrow)upgrade from 9700Pro
about 50c under load, havent tested with new card yet, nor with new exhaust.

I have been thinking about going for another G of ram. I know I can do 2x512 on one channel, and 1gb on other channel for 2gb of dual channel. Fastest 1gb sticks i see are 2-3-2-5. I think I should be able to run that config, @ 2-3-2-5-1T, and still keep the 211FSB.

Is this most likely correct ? The Giga has never given me probs, but it is not an excellent overclocker anyway. Cause I cant give Ram enough juice. As matter of fact at slightly less than rated V (2.72 according to bios) they do 211 (216 in memtest error free, board wont behave tho), max i can feed them is 2.83 or so with bios. Using Preacher bios too.

What should I ask for $$-wise if I decide to sell the XMS I have and just get a matched pair of 1GB sticks.

PQI is priced nicely, as is the Patriot. I dont see Corsair with anything better than 2-3-3. :O(

P.S. Someone reccomend a good internal DVD burner for say 50-60 range. I see no need for a Plextor, lookin at specs. No need to spend 50 really......

thanks dan, yeah I saw that and just PM's him. for 60 a piece, ill take em both so i have matched pair I can sell the corsair or use it for back up. TY I will look at samsungs.

hrrrrm. Now thinking of just grabbin a 2x1gb kit, and selling my XMS XL (which I just tried at lowest I can set voltage on board, and they still happy 2-2-2-11-1T 211Mhz.) Pisses me off I cant get board past 211 stable :O(

For sticking with 2-3-2 and 1T @ 211, looks like Patriot 3500 ~ 240
or OCZ 4000 Platinum Edition ~ 280
or Corsair XMS 3500 (reviews say 2-3-2 newegg shows 2-3-3) ~ 301

Cant find a review on the Patriot. Thinking of picking up a 2GB kit when they in stock again... anyone use/have exp with it yet ? - on an XP Mobile/Nforce2Ultra system
