HELP: Looking for a supply of Senfu DIY cases

I have a feeling I might be out of luck, but I am looking for a couple (at least) of the Senfu DIY cases as seen here: http://www.systemcooling.com/senfu_tb-01.html

I called Plycon where this article points to (and where I bought my previous ones) and was told Senfu is not longer making anything and is out of business.

So, I search on Pricegrabber, Froogle and Ebay with no results.

If anyone knows where I can get a handful of these things, or a good alternative, please let me know.

    Thanks@!

You can buy an alternative here. Based in the UK, but I believe they ship internationally.

Cool Re: HELP: Looking for a supply of Senfu DIY cases

I bought the large one from Plycon, but www.highspeedpc.com is where they are coming from.

I have been wanting to get my hands on one of these for the longest time but have never ponied up the dough..

Maybe one day I will pick one up instead of having gear laying all around the bench.

Those new ones are much more expensive and are actually MORE restrictive than I would like to have.

    Nothing on the originals huh?

I suppose those are kind of neat....but....

    1) Those are dust magnets.
    2) For 100 or more depending on model, can't you build one yourself out of wood with an aluminum plate?

I guess I'm missing the point of these cases - is it so you can swap components quickly and easily for testing purposes? OR, is this what people are using for their actual PC cases? I understand if it is the former, but the latter....see #1 and #2.

For me it is to quickly swamp hardware on the PC Perspective test benches, yes.

Cool Re: HELP: Looking for a supply of Senfu DIY cases

The unit I have with the two 120 mm fans and the buttons you pop in to emulate a case's wiring harness really works well

Thanks, but that's not the one I am looking for. That one looks to constricting on quickly swapping out componenets like the hard drive, etc.
