Replacement cooler for BFG 7800GT - Zalman VF700 or AC Silencer 5?

I have a new BFG 7800GT OC and it's currently the loudest component in my Shuttle SN26P. I don't need a second card (yet) so I think I may want to replace the stock fan with a quieter solution.

Now my question is, should I get the

1) Zalman VF700CU or the
2) Arctic Cooling Silencer Revision 5?

They're both similarly priced and received good reviews...

but
a) which is quieter
b) which is easier to install
c) which would fit better in a Shuttle sized case?
d) besides better cooling, would I notice a real difference in sound between my stock BFG cooler and one of these aftermarkets?

I hope this is the correct forum to ask these questions. Any responses would be greatly appreciated.

VF700CU > AC5 by a good margin. Both are quiet but AC5 is easier to install. VF700CU would fit better.

The Silencer was a bitch to install on my 6800gt (had trouble with the voltage regulator heatsink).. It "only" dropped my core temperatures by ~7c, but that's probably because the 100% copper stock cooler was already pretty good.. I don't know how good the standard 7800gt cooler is, so you might get better results.
It's very silent too.

VF700CU not only cools the GPU, but also the VRAM.

a) VF700CU
b) about the same, you must remove the stock HSF
c) no idea, both takes up 2 slots of space
d) IMO, all stock HSFs are loud as hell & garbage. Especially those that take up one PCI slot. Those that bundles with Silencer are much better than those with stock fans.

Yep, I have used both. My 6800gs is on stock HSF. I don't wanna void the warranty. The fan is fricking loud on load & boot. There are only 2 pre-defined speeds: idle & load. Well, I wear headphones when listening to music or playing games. It kinda drowns out the noise.
