What can you do with these CPU's?

    Amd Processors

I emailed this guy and asked if these were tested for function.
He replied the guy that sold them to him said they are dead.
On a previous auction, 50 xp2400's sold for $600.00! Other auction

What can they be used for? What's the secret?

    TIA

Sort through them and possibly find a few functional ones...
Encase them individually in a clear resin and sell them as paperweights...
Hang one from your rear view mirror and be the envy of all your geek friends...
Build a mold, pour 6 ounces of lead over the chip side and a handle, then sell them as meat tenderizers...
Epoxy two to an 18 inch teak handle with a 12 inch loop of 1/4 inch nylon rope at the other end and sell them as the high-class geeks answer to the loofah...pin-out, of course...but, if you make any pin-in versions, you could sell them as the low-class geeks answer to the loofah...
Buy a few more lots, get some thin-set cement, and re-tile your bathroom floor (again generating mass quantities of geek envy...)...in this instance, remember to put the pins down into the cement unless you're typically addressed as "Swami (insert appelation)"...
...just a few suggestions to get you going....

    Ok
Isn't it strange that someone would pay $600.00 for dead cpu's?

These are just junk and since they were once very expensive we see them here for sale.

The best thing I can think of useing these is for an ART project or you could laminate them in furniture or something like pennys on a bar.

Decorate cases with them. I was thinking you could heat the metal pins and they might get hot enough to melt into plastic. I think it would be cool to have some CPU's melted into the bezels of my cases.

Epoxy 9 of them into a 3 x 3 square (or 16 of them into a 4 x 4 square) and sell the squares as trivets...
