Does the U.S. still need a military?

Well, ofcourse you and I agree that the U.S. needs a military but a city supervisor in San Francisco disagrees with you and I.

San Francisco is already under renewed fire from conservatives, after a city supervisor recently said on Fox News that the U.S. doesn't need a military.

I won't claim to be the smartest person nor the most politically savvy but I will say this, I can't believe there are those that have a leadership position but will make such wreckless remarks.

It's SF, and it's a city supervisor. I'll bet you could find a politician willing to say just about anything if it'll get them their 15 minutes of fame.

San Francisco's supervisors jumped into national politics Tuesday, passing a resolution asking the city's Democratic congressional delegation to seek the impeachment of President Bush for failing to perform his duties by leading the country into war in Iraq, eroding civil liberties and engaging in other activities the board sees as transgressions.
