How long is the 7900GTX?

I just received an X1900XTX and the card is 9", which is about 1" to 1 1/2" too long and wont fit around my K8N Neo 4 platinum north bridge water block (the cooler is sticking out too far and down the length of the card ). That and i cant fit my enheim 1280 water pump in behind it and still be able to close the side of my case. Im going to have to RMA this card back to newegg.com but was thinking of swapping it out for a 7900GTX if that card was a bit shorter? Any clues?

I dont see a point of overclocking or watercooling one of the best CPUs out there.....but thats just me.

Call any retailer (newegg or zipzoomfly) Im sure they will have that info....or call EVGA etc.

Neither zip or the egg know what size the card is. And as for the Watercooling, i thought i could get some good clocks out of this FX but it wouldent budge past 3.0G but it dosent matter as i like the quite that its providing!

If you could experience the difference in SLI at 3.0-3.1 vs 2.8 which you can get on air cooling (H20 is quieter), then you could understand OC'g the FX 57. Two high end vid cards in SLI or Cross fire can use the added CPU power. The FX 57 seems to be made to run at 3.0.

Looks like the new 7900 cards in dual operation may also cause other fitting problems like being too close to the top SATA mobo connectors on some boards. Looks like you are better getting the card dimensions from the manufacturer and checking the mobo forum for your particular mobo?????

Well after making a real fvckaroo out of things here lately ive managed to kill my MSI board...(DONT ASK....) and just picked up a A8N-SLi dlx.

I give up trying to get this 7900GTX in my case, i have switched my eheim pump for a smaller D5 pump (man does this pump kick ass for being so small its way better the eheim) but i still cant get the fat card next to my NB waterblock.....soooo

Im going with a crystal orb NB cooler and yanking out the waterblock there and im going to switch that block out for one of these babies......ALL HAIL DANGERDEN!
