Cool. I've been thinking about getting Buu one of those ASRock boards, can't recall the chipset name, but it has both an AGP and PCI-E onboard and socket 939. Would be a nice transition board for Buu's entry into a Athlon 64. Continue using his 6600GT AGP until a video card upgrade is needed and then go PCI-E.

I dunno. Is it cheap enough to make it worth while to not buy a PCIE card now?

Buu generally gets my old parts but its going to be a while before I upgrade my motherboard and I'm not sure I want to make him wait that long. Don't want to spend the money on a video card unless I need it.

Made a thread in Video about this, but I'll ask here:
Trying to decide between a couple 7600GT in SLI, or a single 7900GT. What do you think?

single 7900GT.. i doubt that the 7600 will be better, even in SLI

    hmm.
Easier to justify that $200 price tag over the $300 though.

OK. After looking at all the benchmarks I can see that the 7600 just won't cut it. 7900 it is.

Actually Lenny, you should just go buy my brand new NF3 board I have for sale. Upgrade him to a 939 socket without having to get a new vid card. Hey, I'm allowed to pimp in my own thread if I want to!

A better choice. The 7600GT isn't all that much faster than a 6800GT as I recall.
