Do LED monitors last longer than regular CFL backlight LCD monitor? They must, right?

I guess it depends on what the typical failure mode for monitors is. All things being equal, I'd expect the LED's to last longer than a CCFL.
Got an e-mail saying the CPU i ordered is backordered and won't be in stock until next monday. no big deal, but I appreciate the company sending me a direct e-mail personally with the option to cancel or wait rather than just cancelling my order like many do, especially when an item is for sale cheaply.
LED is the way to go. Now if they could just make an inexpensive LED light bulb. Feels like I've been waiting forever for price to drop to something reasonable.

Do they actually make a Tri-LED backlight monitor? I'm wanting to get something like a 26" or 27.5" monitor, I have a Samsung Syncmaster P2350 right now and it's pretty good but the contrast on it is kind of terrible.

Yea, but they're insanely expensive. $1-2k or more. I think Dell made a laptop with RGB LED backlighting. But thats the point, if you want the gamut advantage, you're basically out of luck with LED because real RGB LED options don't exist. Its simply not necessary for most of us who only need sRGB gamut coverage, but if you're a photographer/graphic designer who needs AdobeRGB coverage, you need CCFL if you want more than ~79% of that gamut.
Picked up Darksiders 2 for $15. Best Buy had it on sale for the Presidents Day sale, so I bit.
I bought Battlefield 3 Premium.
Kind of feel weird about it. I like Battlefield 3. I really like Battlefield 3! I wanted Premium! But...
I never play Battlefield 3!
Hopefully now that I have all the expansions I won't feel like I'm living in some weird BF3 ghetto, so I'll play it more.
All my obscure Steam games from 2005 are upset about this though.
