    Re: Recent Purchases

I got into Mass Effect w ME3. Loved it, so I got the first two. I will probably be occupied for the rest of the year now.
I also got Killzone 3 for cheap, see how the other Playstation franchise stacks up compared with Resistance.

Mass Effect was amazing. The first one is showing its age and lack of refinement, but the story is awesome.

    Recent purchases:

    Gigabyte Z97N-Wifi
    Intel Pentium G3258 (anniversary edition)

Got the system up and running with an HD7850, need to do some more OC'ing on the CPU (at 4ghz now) and grab a mini ITX case to put it all in since its in some junky CM ATX case for the time being.

Going back to ME1 from 3 will be a tough transition. You'll spend so much time trying to figure out if a gun you find is slightly better than the one you have. Plus there's that whole hacking thing you have to do. Story is great though, and be prepared to spend 60-80 hours in those 2 games alone. You may even want to replay me3 so you can carry your character and choices from the first two games forward.

The hacking is a nice addition they left out of ME3, but definitely a plus when there. I've enjoyed the Deus Ex series (save Invisible War *shudder*), and this is in a similar vein.

Picked up a bitfenix prodigy for my ITX system. I guess I would have preferred a smaller case, but none of them really worked for me. I want an ncase M1 in the future... damn thing is tiny but fits all kinds of stuff!

I just picked up logitech G35 stereo headphones and so far am in love.
Features 7.1 surround, three quick presets on ear volume control and flip up mic muting. All leather and mat plastic earmuffs (I would have preferred a breathable material for the ear pads) that rotate 20 to 30, and a wide headband with multiple velcro inserts makes for a pretty comfort fit. they sound great and from what i can gather the mic is pretty good to, also logitech's gaming software is very good and integrates with all their G series products, I love it. Check them out there on sale rite now for 99$ which is awesome http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...140730001519:s

I got a pair of Sennheiser PC 350's. I'll never go back to the innexpensive cans again. I had a pair of Logitech's once, and they were good while the lasted. They just didn't last all that long. Maybe a year or so?

    Re: Recent Purchases

I wouldn't go so far as to say they're cheap they sell from 100-200$ depending and the Sennheiser PC 350 from 150$ -200$

    https://www.google.com/shopping/prod...&ved=0CLABEL4k
however they both launched much higher.

I think it comes down to use case. the g35's are better for gaming and the Sennheiser's are better for music and general audio fidelity, at least that's what i'm reading ↓

I have a Soundblaster Z also, so I really wouldn't want to use a USB headset.

The Logitech set I had was very good, they just didn't hold up.
