Rust-oleum Black Metallic
Nope this is my first LCD. I must admit I'm a little worried about it. My first experience with an LCD a year or more ago was bad. It was 25ms and ghosted badly in games I returned it. LCDs seem limited to me (fixed optimal resolution, limited fps due to low 60 Hz refresh rate, high apparent dot pitch, possible dead pixels) but I decided to give one a try.
That's a Sony 55" rear projection LCD in the living room I still can't get over how sweet that TV is. Just watched 'V for Vendetta' on it last night.
My 27" Toshiba was 10+ years old before I bought the new one. I always wanted a big screen. I finally convinced myself to take the plunge. No regrets. Got a good deal at best buy and 18 months no interest. My TV is even cheaper now. It was the brand new model for this year and I bought it when it had just come out.
Well I still have the 32" RCA big screen from '94, 35 was as big as they went then for CRT style, but this 32 cost as much, had more features. Still a good TV, but I am yearning for bigger. (This has a lot of hookups that I can't make good use of in my Apartment)
There are advantages to being retarded...and I'm taking advantage of all of them.
