I'm using the arctic cooling freezer 64 pro. Also I'm not running nearly as high voltage as you are so that may be the diff in temps.

my core temp is significantly different from the socket temp, prolly to do with the mobo. but yeah, speed fan it is.

kinda dissapointed at how high these temps are

for me generally the core is about 2-4 degrees lower. I may try pushing it even more than, try 1.45-1.5 volts see if i can get 2.7-2.8.

I bought in late August a Dell portable, the XPS M1710, it has Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T2400 1.83Ghz, 988MHz, 2 GB RAM, 512MB NVIDIA GeForce Go 7900 GTX, 17" Widescreen WUXGA, SoundBlaster Audigy Advance MB. Very satified with it!

Also bought recently Logitec Momo Racing Wheel. Also very satisfied.

Rigth now I'm playing GTR2, Darkstar One, Civilization IV and Company of Heroes.

    Waiting for.. Star Trek Legacy.

sure it's not just a core duo? i think the t2400 is a regular core duo, minus the 2. i have a t2300e and it's just a core duo as well.

Kingston Value ram 512mb pc3200, finally bringing me to a gig.

..still a little choppy in oblivion and dark messiah demo, but might be because of the rest of my system (but at least I don't hear speech-problem city at the beginning of the demo..'Ma-ma-ma-ma-ma-ma-ma-ma-ma-master Fenir' )
