what do you use to measure the core? i am going by speedfan, it says right now that the temp 1 (cpu) and core are both at 45, I have not seen either at above 50 (when it was about 30 in the room). I'm using the arctic cooling freezer 64 pro. Also I'm not running nearly as high voltage as you are so that may be the diff in temps.

my core temp is significantly different from the socket temp, prolly to do with the mobo. but yeah, speed fan it is.

for me generally the core is about 2-4 degrees lower. I may try pushing it even more than, try 1.45-1.5 volts see if i can get 2.7-2.8.

Rigth now I'm playing GTR2, Darkstar One, Civilization IV and Company of Heroes.

sure it's not just a core duo? i think the t2400 is a regular core duo, minus the 2. i have a t2300e and it's just a core duo as well.

yeah, my core is about 20 degrees warmer than the socket.

the titanium version? i have a 2gb of the titanium and they're very durable, stays in my pocket all the time even at work doing construction in the rain and cold.
