Well that makes two of us I see others who have AMD rigs now but I'm not sure if they have switched back and forth. I should start a new thread for this

I am only posting this to stress 3d out a little more ... I am still all AMD with a 1090 and 5770 running a 27" Samsung LCD as primary, All the Wardens computers and even my HP Laptop are AMD.

Edit: I bought a new Audigy SE for my XP64 machine and a Win 7 Ultimate 64 bit DVD, and a 700 W Coolermaster PS>

Noctua NH-D14 out of stock, didn't get because backorder take too long, replaced with Corsair H70 and Intel CPU cooler sucks for overclocking, ok, so I finish installing, felt a bit silly with the retention plastic although I fix it, heatsink paste that on it was too dry, was like dry crust. lol I replace with other paste.

I picked up one of those F3J samsungs at newegg the other day for $55 for 1TB. pretty good price for a very quick desktop drive. I'm going to put it in my main rig. Haven't decided if I want to retire one of my old 320's (one of them is from 2005) and just basically replace it with the new drive, or if I'll move the 1TB green thats currently in there over to my HTPC, which already has a 1TB and 2TB green, though that 2TB is getting full. Could do both though and remove the 1TB green and 320....

Yamaha V765 receiver. I'd been having a few issues with my refurbed HK 254. I love the thing, but the handshake issues have been annoying. I struck a deal with my dad to give him the 254 to update their setup (they have a really old stereo receiver right now) in exchange for 1 month's car insurance. The issues I've been having shouldn't be an issue for them since they only happen with my HTPC and never with standalone hardware.
