    Should be easy but....

I wanted wireless in my home, so i switched my Netgear WGR614(wired) router to a Netgear WGR614v6(wired/wireless) router. The router works wired and on my laptop in Linux (what I am writing in currently, wireless). Windows see the line but times out when trying to connect. I am stumped on how to fix this problem.
