    Firefox 1.5.0.4

IE7 is still in beta stages, plus it doesn't have Adblock.

I'm using Firefox 1.5.0.4 and don't intend to switch. That said, curiosity led me to download IE7, both 32 and 64 bit. I'll try them and see what they're like, my nephew raves about IE7 and my wife uses only IE so I'm really testing it for the wife.

Firefox 1.5.0.4 for several reasons. IE7 only works on XP (and Vista whenever). I use Win 2K when I use Windows. When I surf the web I use my Linux rig (Mepis 6.0 rc3) with Firefox. No problem with nasty stuff from the Internet. I keep a WinXP Pro SP2 install current for comparison and testing. Compared to linux it is high maintainance. Like a few women I have known.

Firefox 2.0 Beta is due out very shortly. The official release is due about August I believe

I don't believe MS have released IE for Linux yet - if they do, I may try it

I am a hardcore firefox user. I tried to move to Opera 9 at one point but it didnt work for me. I tried Firefox 2.0 beta and 3.0 alpha really neat stuff coming up for firefox. the 2.0 beta is somewhat faster so I expect good things

I am the lone IE7 Beta 3 user.... I use IE spell a lot, there is NO decent spell-checker for Firefox, I hate using it for the forums as far as posting is concerned. I love Tigs extensions and the ease of customizing my bookmarks, but I can survive without them if I have a decent spell-checker.

So I use IE 7 about 75%, FF 20% and Opera 9.0 5% (Opera has a built in Bit Torrent down-loader)

Reports from early testers compliment two of the significant new features: an integrated spell checker, and an anti-phishing tool. The spell-checker promises to make blog and forum postings more lucid. The phishing filter (an integrated component of IE 7.0 as well) works with locally stored lists of bad sites, along with Google's site listing, and possibly others down the road.
I guess you wont have an excuse much longer lol

Curious to see if the developers worked out the memory issues in the new firefox. Overall it used less memory than the latest IE7 build, but regardless of whether firefox was full screen or minimized, it used the same amount of memory. IE7 when minimized uses very little resources...something like 60mb to 2 or 3mb when you minimize. (my numbers might be a bit off)
