    10 gbit LAN

    Hi ppl
    I have question about comming 10gbit ehternet: will home PC ethernet adapters use standard UTP cable for it or will it use optic fibres cable?

    Most likely be copper wire, fibre optics are a bit tricky for the average consumer.

    From what I've read on 10gb...you will need Cat 6 cable....Cat 5e will not work. (copper answer)
