it depends on the core u get.do u know the stepping? u will get like 2.4-2.5 on stock or close to stock volts.with maybe 1.5-1.6 ull get 2.6-2.7 on a not so good chip.

its 512+512 or 1m+1m and by model the 4200 is 512+512, 4400/4800 AFIK are the 1m versions.
really 512+512 is PLENTY, there is a reasion amd is droping 1m a64 chips, theres no real perf advantage for home/privat users, they are also bringing out 256+256k x2's soon, again 256 is plenty of cache for home/privat users, athlon by design dosnt need/make effective use of large caches.

eather you you got a good chip injoy it

Right I got my new CPU and installed the drivers needed, so far ive noticed when opening applications eg: media player etc there's a slight pause or stall and then they open, this never happened before, also I was playing lego starwars demo and it crashed twice something that didnt happen with my Athlon 64 3500+,my temps seem normal, all fans working fine, anyone had this problem with dual core cpu's ??. My3dmark 06 scores have gone up roughly 450 points which isnt bad, havn't overclocked yet.

Download the AMD driver ,there is one for that problem, th eoptimizer I think

It can cause problems as ell. If you have it installed, try removing it.
