Nintendo has positioned the Wii in such a way that games need to be designed especially for it because of the performance disparity between it and the other two next-gen systems. Whether this will be a positive (more attention paid to exploiting the functionality of the Wiimote) or a negative (rushed ports, not tweaking games to work well with the Wiimote and relying on the standard controller for the best gameplay) remains to be seen.

maybe you're fine with being pushed around, be it by coworkers, family, your boss, the government or yes even big business, but some of us aren't keen to just sit around and take it when we feel we're being unjustly treated.

maybe to you it's not important but to the original poster it is, who are you to decide what's important for everyone?

there's a saying that's 100% true, you give them an inch and they'll take a mile. all big changes start out slow and unassuming.

will one person not buying the wii make a big difference? perhaps not, but at least he's not just another sheep

oh and i won't buy the wii either, don't want one at all, if i got one for free i'd prolly keep it though.

I might select the XBOX 360 instead, however I'd improve the cooling without voiding the warranty, theres this external case cooling device on the back and was curious about if it broke the warranty or in fact let me warranty stand, anyway, I know of this shop where I can get warranty cover for any fault but I pay a little extra, but they will give me a new XBOX 360 for a fault not caused by myself

Nintendo has angered me for the last time. I have been looking forward to playing Zelda:Twilight Princess (for Gamecube) since it was announced. They delayed it numerous times. They delayed it again so they could release a Wii version along side (and so it wouldn't hurt the Wii sales). Now, I find out they've pushed back the release of the Gamecube version to a month after the launch of the Wii. This is just some greedy attempt by Nintendo to milk as much money as possible out of the Wii while making their loyal customers (who perhaps don't have enough money for the Wii at the moment) wait even longer for a game that has already been delayed over a year. It's not as if the Gamecube version (which Zelda was oroginally planned for anways) wont be ready, Nintendo is just being greedy. yes, I know that it's a smart business decision. I don't care, I will never buy a Nintendo Wii now.

Sooo... I'll see you in line on launch day?

Just be thankful that the US is getting a gamecube version. The rest of the world will have to shell out the $250 plus the money for the game to experience the new Zelda game where we can only spend $40 on the gamecube console plus $50 for the game which is cheaper than buying the Wii console. Be thankful.
