Question R U happy with it, EVGA 7900 GTO 512 MB

I'm really wanting to grab one of these, maybe tonight or tomorrow? I'm wondering with all the PPL that have one now, what are your thoughts on it good or bad, would you buy it again if you had it to do over again?
    thanks

    I don't have the 7900GTO 512MB, but I'm super-freaking happy with my eVGA 7900GT (N583).

eVGA is one of the best vendors out there. And that card has got to be one of the biggest "bang-for-your-buck" candidates as Newegg has it for around $255. You can overclock it or flash it to a GTX and then overclock it some more and have an awesome card.

Well I ordered it this morning, it does seem like a good price verse performance.

I bought 2 evga GTO's,I've only tested 1,so far 716/820 artifact free, seems to be pretty much an average OC for these cards,91.47 drivers.

The HSF is a reference GTX cooler which is hard to beat w/air cooling

OK, I just got mine today at about 1 PM eastern time, and have had it installed since about 2 PM.

Everything is working flawlessly at default speeds, I reinstalled FEAR and Oblivion, then played each for about an hour each. GPU idle temps are hovering around 40c and load never seems to go above 50c. I have not tried to OC it yet, but Idon't plan to for quite a while since framerates are excellent at 1024*768, which is the normal resoloution at which I play. FEAR never drops below 50fps (average is around 80fps), with everything at max, no soft shadows, noAA, and AF at 4x. Oblivion is really smooth with everthing at max and HDR enabled, no AA of course, I still need to record a runthrough for fps numbers.

So far so good, especially since the cooling fan is just as quiet as the Arctic Cooling ATi Silencer I had on the X850XT it replaced.

I got it yesterday and installed it last night. I was a little worried because I have a cheap Allied PSU (430W) but it runs. I bought it over 3 years ago for around $25 clearance on Newegg. I used my last two available 4-pin connectors. I think I will get a new PSU in the coming months.

The GTO replaced a 6800 GT AGP. It is an amazing improvement. I played around with Company of Heroes and the Medieval 2 demo and both run very well. So far I am very happy with the card.

A silly question from a silly person: If you are happy with it, why would you want another for SLI?

    Is that a rhetorical question?
