    Case Recommendation

Hi, I feel like it's time for a new case. I'm pretty picky when it comes to the case I want. Basically, I want aluminum shaded black, a very clean look to it, not like things are just slapped on there and the ability to hold watercooling components. This is one I have my eye on right now but I don't know if it has enough room to hold watercooling stuff.

Any suggestions? I'm open to lots of ideas so throw em at me. Thanks!

Last year I purchased the Antec P160, it is a very good case. It has a front filter, 2 x 120mm fans and many other neat items.

    Cool Re: Case Recommendation

I'm a big believer in aluminum cases, but Antec has just released a steel case that really looks interesting, see here: http://www.performance-pcs.com/catal...ducts_id=20817

It looks awesome and if the measurements are right , it's a mid-tower case.

I used this 180 awhile back and found it to be an excellent case. Very high quality and plenty of room.

CM Stacker. I have the original. Set up for 2 psu's, installed watercooling with PA 160mm radiator, no mods. Totally flexible, put your drives , switches, controlers etc where you want, Built like a tank, and as big . (Steel chassis, aluminum panels)

pardon the mess, I was bleeding and leak checking the system before final install

The most WC targeted case I've seen is the Gigabyte (yeah, I know, it's Gigabyte. But it's a nice case!) Aurora.

That's a sweet rig in your sig, but does it fold?

    Re: Case Recommendation

You're right, LS. Once you go to Lian Li, it's just something other cases seem to be measured by. Don't get me wrong, other cases (the Gigabyte, for instance) are nice, but.....
I'll post pics when I get mine completed. Here are some preliminary:
Click to open in new window full sized.

Gonna have to mod to get the PCP&C 1 KW PSU to fit here:

    Re: Case Recommendation

    Here is mine :

THe only difference is I have modded the hard drive rails to fit right above the radiator. Therefore, there is hardly any wires going into the main section of the case. Makes the case ultra clean You can't see it with the picture, but I have placed a 120mm blowhole on the top of the case.

I mounted the dual 120mm radiator at the bottom of the case that way it constantly pulls in cool air.
