    Re: 3DMark2006 Hall of Fame

I received a promotional 3DMarks with a game but never used it as it was for Vista only. Since then I've migrated from XP to Windows 7 - does anyone know if a Vista 3DMarks version can work and provide accurate results in the newer OS?

    Q9300 with 4 GB DDR2 1066 RAM
UltraSharp 2408WFP (needs to be RMA'ed) on GeForce GTX 285 on two 18 amp 12V lines
    Audigy X-Fi Fatal1ty w/ Logitech Z-5500 & Sennheiser HD 280 Pro and HD 595
plus the usual stuff in a poorly designed Antec P180 PW case

I assume this is 3DMark Vantage you are talking about? Yes, it should be fine.

Anyway, a belated update from me, along with a new score of mine:

    25775

Got a second 285GTX in SLI now.

@ the last 2 posts. A pair of oc'd 460's score lower than a single 470? CPU limitation perhaps?

Well.. I still feel pretty good with how my "aging" pair of 5870's are performing. Side note.. what CPU are you running? For some reason when I hit the "My System" link in your siggy it simply shoots me back to this thread.
