    Re: Water Cooling Stuff

I really like the performance water has given my PC. (Temps, very little noise, looks cool, higher clocks, ect) So i'm going to put it on the other 2 E6600's I have.
The cases there in are quite small. I'm going to have to hog out the front to mount the rad in there. Should be fun.

    hehe,
I still remember when a friend of mine and I were talking about his brand new 486DX-33. It was the early 90s, and like a couple of geeks we had the sides off of sides of his computer admiring the little fan they placed on the CPU. As the 486s were among the first CPUs that utilized forced air cooling, and the 386s were using what then seemed like huge heat sinks, I jokenly said, "What's next water cooling?" We both laughed. But look at what's out there today. Water cooling is almost common place, and even refrigerated systems can be purchased.

Even today, I still think about that whenever I see water cooled rigs.
