His problem was he listed it as for sale "for parts". These things usually go for around $90, and on a regular basis, they are pretty popular.

Well It just means You were a smart buyer who took a chance and won a working item and It meant the seller gave up and didn't try everything.

Me I have an eight port Belkin KVM(p81041-a omniview pro2 F1DA108T), It's Rack mountable and It doesn't work and I think I know why, No power supply, It needs a 12v 1amp psu at least, I have a 12v 1.25amp psu brick that would work, But wouldn't You know It the plug won't fit in the hole, I think I either need a psu from Belkin or I need to take It to Radio Shack and find something there that will work.

Dang Belkins website says It does, Drat and double drat, Now to call them. I'm on hold, I'm listening to marketing and other dribble while on the phone to Belkin.

Well Belkin took My info and they are sending Me a 12v 1amp(1000 milliamps) psu brick for My KVM as It won't work without one and Radio Shack no longer sells a compatible psu, Belkin has them for $14.95, So at least I don't have to worry about that fluff. Afterall I spent over $227.50 for this kvm rackmount and cables, 5yr warranty, Ok, I'm happy.

Yeah Belkin is not nearly as bad as Verizon Online, VZ online is really hard to deal with, Once You're at the right place with a Human they ain't too bad, sometimes their a bit dense though.

Convoluted does comes to mind though.

We have a backup generator that produces 500 Kilowatts, plus everything is on a huge ups backup system. This ups is about 8 feet long by about 5 feet high. If the power goes out everything stays on the ups just long enough for the generator to kick in. All linier lines, all robots, all cranes, and all computers(including the server) don`t even hickup. All that happens is the mercury lighting takes about 2-4 minutes to fully power again. The only thing that stops during this power outage is the forklifts, till the lighting has fully repowered. Wish i could get authorization to take some pictures for show and tell.

My job is that i`m the main trainer for the 60% cushion 2nd row seat. It take 2 workers to build a 60% cushion from the ground up(about 4 minutes and 10 seconds). All torques are recorded digitally(they are assigned to the VIN number for that vehicle-order). We are what you call a live feed plant. Cami sends a order(trigger) for lets say a Suzuki XL-7 with the options of Cashmere leather interior, and 3rd row seating. We get that trigger and it is put in a que. The timing is all worked out so that by the time it is built and sent out the door, and makes it through Cami`s building to the line. It is married up to the EXACT vehicle. Infact we know the VIN number of the vehicle before it is built. Every part of what should be done, in what order, and a specific torque range is recorded. If you try to do something out of order, or don`t hit a certain torque, it won`t let you do the next step, or release the seat from the clamps till it gets what was missed. There`s alot more but that`s enough for now. This is getting long winded, and it`s in the wrong thread.

    Not if you take pictures...

This thread has sorta become the bar for the Digital Photography Forum.

Not that we HAVE such a forum, but when we do, we'll have the bar!

What, you mean a photobar? Post a photo before you can comment on the other photo kind of thing?

    Had me worried, man....

because the REST of that camera is just... wow... Sensor cleaner... ISO extendable from 50 to 6400!!! And the 3" screen has something I've never seen in an SLR: Live View. :sigh: I could really use that when shooting clouds; saves your eyes in case you accidentally get the sun in the viewfinder zoomed in by the lens... yeesh!

Yeah, and the price... sweet. More than mine, but a HE11 of a lot less than the old 1D 'nStuff!
I guess you're glad it's not a full frame then

I like. I agree with no porn, and the photo has to be taken by the poster only. And i really like the part of "must post a photo to post a comment.

Ok. I want to play a guessing game. Scroll 1 frame at a time, and see if you can guess what i am. Sorry about the focus, but i need a shorter tripod for these kinds of shots. Let us begin.

    What am i?

Do you know what i am? Very good. Now you try.
