    That is stupid since counter-strike supports it and a lot more people play that than they play the battlefield games, especially competitively.

    Yeah, make games for the lowest common denominator.
    Why not make sure that BF2142 would play best on a 500 Mhz Pentium II.
    Those using an X6800 have an unfair advantage!

    Gah. Well, luckily a new PC Game standard will come out soon. I read that wide-screen support will be a requirement to get the stamp of approval.

    ;-)

    I miss this game so much... Maybe in a month or two I'll be able to afford a fast PC again (had an XPS 700 for 8 weeks).
