    Are you still connected via usb?

    If your testing with ethernet ( Or when your able to do so.) and this still comes up have your isp test the connection from there end.

    If it is on usb then I would definitely switch to 1/100 ethernet. Even a 10 baseT port will hold it back a bit.

    Yeah thats still on USB, you asked me to do the test and I did lol. I'll have to buy the cable on the weekend or so. no time lately.

    My speed here is fair but i had problems while back too. Usb to internet has to dial up even on broadband, i got away from that and got a lan modem and used my network{linksys}port instead. A while back it got erattic and like to dr me crazy, anyway turns out where my wire went through my battery backup was the culprit. I went through all physical connects,filters and wires before i found that too cause i`m still using bat bkup just bypassing connection for internet to it.I usually get 1.2 down and 256 up.Bellsouth.net provider.
    a7n8x-d2.8.msi 5900 and diamond 7.1 sound using digital out.1g xms 3200c2 mem, liteon dvd burner. Been using ubuntu-no windiz.

    just checked 1233 and 211.
