    DFI Memory Timing Database

    Okay, this thread is about your memory timing in use on your AMD-based DFI Motherboards. Any AMD CPU-based motherboard, be it a LanParty or Infinity, is to go in this database. This isn't just another OC database, although that's part of it, but a database for people to list their timings. When that's done, I'm going to put this in a categorical list by motherboard and memory. The reason for this is to make it easier for people to check out what timings people use at what speeds without having to scroll through page after page of RAM other than what they're using.

    What I need from you:

    1.)Specs
    REQUIRED
    -Motherboard (i.e. LanPartyUT NF4 Ultra-D, LanParty NF2 B)
    -CPU (i.e. Athlon 64 3000+, Sempron 2800+)
    -BIOS version (i.e.11/14, 704-2BTA)
    -RAM brand (i.e. Corsair XMS, Crucial Ballistix) and amount (i.e. 2x512MB)
    -Video card(s) (i.e. eVGA GeForce 6600LE, BFG 8800GTX)
    -Power Supply (i.e. OCZ PowerStream 520, Antec TruePower TPII-550)
    -CPU cooling (i.e. retail AMD cooler, Scythe Ninja, Koolance Exos, custom LN2)
    Optional: hard drives, sound card, optical drives, other PCI/PCIe cards, anything else not required.

    2.)BIOS settings
    -Genie BIOS settings
    -DRAM Configuration settings

    It doesn't matter if they're set to Auto, post them.

    3.)Screenshot
    It must have the following:

    -CPU-Z/CPUID with CPU and Memory tabs displayed
    -Prime 95 (2 instances for X2s), StressPrime, or Orthos run for at least 8-12 hours (longer is fine).

    3DMark or other benchmarks are nice but not required.

    Since I will be creating links to your post(s), you are only allowed one motherboard and set of RAM per post.

    The results list will begin in the following post. If you don't see your results linked within a few days, shoot me PM so I can link to them.

    Don't worry if your RAM or motherboard isn't listed when you post; I'll edit the list as necessary for organizational purposes.

    Didn't notice this until just now.
    That's the problem with stickies.
    They don't go to the top of the thread list when a new post has been made.

    I've been having problems for the last few weeks with bsods usually when I'm browsing so I've been experimenting.
    BIOS Memtest - OK
    SuperPI 32M - OK
    3DMark01 - OK
    Disconnecting USB devices.
    Uninstalling apps (still not sure about Skype).
    Monitoring CPU and RAM usage in Task Manager.
    Checking Temps with PC Wizard, Guardian, Everest, etc.
    Running HD diagnostics.
    Checking event viewer.
    Dropped oc to 10x250MHz.
    And probably a lot more things I can't recall atm.

    Anyway so far going to a PCI LAN card seems to be working.

    Are you interested in all the timings in all my DFI boxes Bman. I'd be more than willing. Did you want the bios revisons as wellI I have a real mismsh of boxes and memory mixes on the go riht now. zSome are fairly finely twealked others just up and running with the bulk of settings at default. I've even been having some pretty good results useing the CVS sticks, Samsung and the hynix as well. These were all cheap sticks and they've all been good into the 240 with the cas at 2.5 or 3. What about the RDX as well" Are you interested in these tidbits as well?

    Yeah, anything you can post is helpful. I've seen a lot of threads around that were mostly for the NF4 SLI/Ultra's, but not much else...especially the RDX guys. The more info, the better. This thread is for all DFI boards, not just the NF4's, so the more the RDX guys put in, the better.

    I like this setup better for gaming.In PI I changed the Affinity to test both cores individually and Both PASSED without a problem.

    in time i will get ya some info on an expert running 3.0 right now with lots of room to go higher, got a sli-dr new coming and a 590-sli when i figure it out when time allows, and a nf3 250gb never could get it to do much so running stock. but have learned alot more since then so may give it another try.
