    Vista and OEM versions

    Are there going to be OEM version for Vista like XP has now? If so what will the pricing be? Anyone heard anything yet?

    OEM versions of Vista will be available soon after the launch of Vista. on January 30th. There's basic, Home premium, business, and of course Ultimate. Price will depend on wether you buy upgrade, or full version

    I already ordered for Vista Ultimate x64 OEM for myself and Business x64 OEM for my dad and it now shipped and about to get on Monday or Tues - see on: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/produc...id=33&catid=20 But I wont install until I download drivers first as Ive download one hardware drivers for my Epson 4490 scanner as it now released but rest of it are not release yet until end of this month.

    I got Windows Vista Ultimate x64 OEM today and will expect Business x64 tomorrow for my dad - the OEM version with disc into plastic cover folder and few pages info and cd key at the back.

    WHAT! From what I am seeing you need the retail version, if you are like most of us here who rebuild there systems all the time and upgrade alot. The OEM version will not allow this???

    Correct. It's designed to satisfy markets in developing countries.
