Anyone know how to get oil stains out of a Mousepad?

I figured Ill post here before going to the Martha Stewart forums. I have a Xtrac Ripper XL mousepad with stains on it because of grease/oil from food. I tried washing it with warm water, tried 70% alcohol, tried spit, nothing works. Any thoughts?

BTW, soft mousepads are generally rubbish, as someone who has reviewed many mousepads I have learned this. Buy a nice Icemat and be done with it

Well FLH since you've already done all the above your chances are slim.
In the future try K2R spot lifter.
It's standard equipment on yachts with teak decks.
Drop a potato chip crumb on a teak deck and you'll see a nice greese spot in a few minutes.
Spray a shot of K2R on it and wait 5 minutes then brush it away.

Thanks, I got most of it off. I used lens cleaner cloth,spit, and elbow grease.
