Question Re: How the original AMD heatsink for Opteron 148 looks like?

Okay, okay, but the question is with what come Opty 148
I know the later dual core ones are 4 pipe nice good heatsinks.

The question is absolutely specifical for Opteron 148

Sempron come with the poor aluminium thing displayed on the left of Sparks pic. Tough on the one I have in hand is a "nice" AMD logo in center of the fan...

all but dual cores(4400 and up last i rmemeber) came with the crappy(for us uber clockers) alu heatsink.even single core opterons came wit hthe alu one..unles my mind is playing games but then again i did order a bunch of eom ones vs retail ones

edit a bud of mine bought a douzen 146's, he's in italy, 2 of them came with heatpipe heatsinks, not sure why, even tough it was the same cpu. i havent got wind of another single core with heatpipe sinks, lately.

Unhappy Re: How the original AMD heatsink for Opteron 148 looks like?

Dunno, probably setting +0,60Vcore to the dafault one. It posted, tough, but that was about it

I think I done that. Sapphire Pure Innovation "Grouper" A9RX480 mobo offer such crazy high settings, like 2.05Vcore and 4.40Vdimm ...
