I've been trying to install Vista to my Gigabyte DS4 with Intel ICH8R in Raid 0, it will install but take 30 minutes to boot then fails. After much searching online i've found that the bios for the RAID is older than the software Vista uses causing a massive failure. No one (to my knowledge) has fixed this problem. My only alternative has to remove the raid and run them as seperate drives, it works fine now but the performance loss is noticalble. Intel know about the problem and have promised a ROM update soon.

Just a warning and some advice.
