IS there a problem with runnign 4 GB of ram on a p5n32E SLI?
I was having serious instability problems - I pulled out 2 sticks and now have 2 GB and it runs fine - swapped the 2 and it still runs fine so I don't think its a memory failure.
Someone mentioned they heard that there is a problem when using all four slots on this board - is there anything I should know?

That is a loaded system. Have you ever gone into the bios and checked to see what the voltage rails are reading? Are they within a 10% tolerance? Have you tried upping your ddr2 voltage? Have you installed one stick at a time and run memtest86 to see if you have a possible bad stick? Sometimes motherboards can be picky about certain brands of ram. And using 4 GB can be hit and miss as well.
Thanks - The voltages are 1.875v on auto which is lower than the 2.0-2.1 they are rated for (muskin). When I manually set them to 2.0 the system is even more unstable.
I have not used 1 stick at a time I suppose I should try.
