Who knows? I read where he wasnt interested in any VP slot...but things change. I imagine if he were McCains VP he still might have a shot at being President.

Seriously.. there is not a runner left that I do not feel he would not round out the ticket for. We'll have to wait and see.

Agree. He'd be good with Romney particularly.

I told you all so! I said Fred was lazy way back in the beginning. Now all of you will jump on the Romney bandwagon.

Or as I like to call him "the chameleon". He'll say whatever someone wants to hear to get ahead.

It would have been nice to see him do better.

I agreed with his positions more than most other candidates, just had serious reservations about his skills and talents... and a major mental block because he was a senator.

This alone made his campaign worth the effort

The fun stuff. NRO guys jabbing at one another.
This guy is jabbing at Lowrey for being too damned clinical about the deal.

Ok, Rich, So You Didn't Like Fred [Michael Ledeen]

We knew that. But please spare us the psychobabble. No candidate in memory was put on the couch so much as Fred, and where did it get us? He has more to say about the serious issues, IMHO at least, than all the others combined. He's a grownup, for which he got roundly denounced as "lacking fire." Well, time will tell about the wisdom of his positions, and of ours as well. As I keep telling my children, there is no reward for being wrong first. I would have thought Fred, whose mother is in intensive care, was entitled to a couple of hours of respectful silence. But no. What a shame.

He'd be a good VP....he won't have to do anything....he can still take his daily 3 naps on schedule.

I don't really understand why he is so appealing to so many...seems like he was a fav amongst the TLR republicans.
