A8N 32 SLI Deluxe video question?

I'm new to this forum and last month, I put together my first PC. I have been struggling with an issue that I can't seem to correct and would really appreciate some input. Maybe some one else has had similar issues and has a quick fix? My system has the following: Windows XP Professional, A8N32 SLI Deluxe, 2GB Corsair RAM, AMD 64X2 4400+ CPU, Foxconn 7900GS Nvidia Video Card, 430 W ATX PS with 3 12V rails rated at 18A, and a Samsung 19" 940BW Widescreen flat panel monitor. O.K, The problem is that the video image is distorted. Text and Icon's appear perfectly on my desk top but Jpeg's have small green dots scattered through them, dark (black) images show up as an ugly pea green color, and video images are distorted and very dark. So far I have loaded all the updated drivers from Foxconn and Asus including a recent BIOS update for 7900 series video cards but no luck. Any ideas or suggestions?

    what are your Video temps?
Are you overclocking the card or board?
Do you have a different card you can install for troubleshooting, or a different rig to try your card in.

I don't know the video card temps but the problem is evident even on the ASUS boot up screen when the machine is cold. I am not overclocking and unfortunately do not have a spare card to try or another rig to try my card in. However, I did order a new power supply after talking with Foxconn who told me that I need a minimum of 22 amp capability on the 12V rails. I will get it tommorow and plan to change it out then.

The display settings are set at 32 bit. Is that correct?
