I am not sure if I am supposed to get back to the trader or keep going?
Yea there are some quests that tempted me to go back to the trader at the beginning to complete them but I want to get some better gear before I feel confidant enough to trek back to the beginning. I keep running low on ammo and want to get some armor or something.

Yeah, I think I screwed up. I missed the secret underground room in the sewer. Then went back to the Mole and missed the mission by a couple minutes. I know I will finish it and replay it on a harder setting. It has been fun so far.
Willis I have had crashing if I leave it at the main menu for more than 10 minutes or so. In game has been fine with or without sli. The big problem I really had was I needed to change the shader setting? It would look like I was at 4,000 feet in the air with just clouds. I have been playing with no cross hairs for fun. The game play seems to make up for any other issues. I liked prey for the same reasons. It is actually different for a change.

god god, it fixes over 70 things...... its almost like they went ahead and released it and let us spend 40 bucks to be beta testers, its ok though the games pretty cool so im not too upset but wow, looking at the list of what it fixed .... I just hope I don't have the lockups anymore

man this game is killer on veteran...i couldnt get passed the banditos to hook up with the mole and i never had any ammo ...much easier thus far on stalker. i made it to the point to go down in the tunnel after dying there i decided id just go back and pick up a crap load of artifacts run all the way to the beginning accepted the appropriate jobs and then turned them over and bought a nifty suit. I saw a scope mentioned on another site...am i already supppsed to have this? if so where do i pick it up.

This is the first game I have played that made me stop playing because I was s---ting a brick playing through the underground lab in the Dark Valley at night. Hallways/rooms so long/big your flash light doesn't reach the end/sides of it ...... whats at the other end? what was that noise? why can't there be IR vision?

PaternityTest- You'll find scopes on enemy weapons, at traders or in stashes, takes a bit of time though.

Eh I dont know guys...so far the bad outweighs the good so I'm gonna pass on this game so far. Maybe I'll rethink it in a month or two...

I think the game is great, warts and all. Though giving it a month, considering the speed of patch and savegame issue, might be a good thing. I just didnt want to miss out on the collectors box

I don't know why but I can't seem to get into this game at all. I guess it's just the completely non-existent story coupled with boring maps that so far haven't piqued my interest at all. Ah well, at least it's something to hold me over till Quake Wars.

i gave up on it until i get a better video card and they come up with a patch that actually keeps it from locking up, that so started to get old quick so.... its on hold for me until i get a new vid card, im hoping they release another fix or 2 and figure out what the hell locks this game up in that timeframe
