Re: whats up with the teams total production folks????

Well I have 8 boxes all single core and one with GPU that is down again

    got 4 x 396 pointer
    2 x 186
    1 x 206
and a lowly 76 pointer. Never seen one of those before.

My GPU is acting up again. Crashes the PC when I start to fold and no 3D apps work. Gonna try re-seating the card again tomorrow hope that fixes it like it did last time.

Re: whats up with the teams total production folks????

im running linux under vmware, couldnt get linux to work properly with my tv so i had to install xp then kubuntu, my main pc i have messed up bad in the past by "testing" things, and i dont really have the time now to waste fixing my "testing" so that is why it is only using vmware, otherwise id dual boot and switch to xp only when i wanted to game. My production has stayed pretty much the same (except for the fact that the htpc smp couldnt get any work yesterday so there goes nearly a day but i did turn the 2 consoles on in xp, so at least some folding got done, although i didnt actually complete a unit, i may switch them over again tonight as i wont be getting any units done tomorrow, and i have 4 on my 2 machines that are 50% or greater done with 2 of them at about 90% at least i will get a few units in.

    Messing with SMP.

Had to shutdown one (server) box to update something and a 36% 2610 bit the dust, core communication issues .... guess I have to take more care.

One 2651 just got dispatched to stanford.

Waiting a WU to end before switching the last box to SMP.

    Sorry to hear that Jimbo.

Hopefully, you get them going soon.

The team needs all the points it can get; especially from our front runners.

    Best wishes.

Re: whats up with the teams total production folks????

For the past month and a half I've had straight cardiac muscle protein work units (the super villians) which have been terrible for my team output. Thankfully I peeked in at the stanford site and setup the Window SMP client to see if I'll be given something a lil better than the trash I have been getting. I also had to take 2 laptops off the line since they are getting refitted to other tasks and are finally get a bit to slow to meet the deadlines.

Jimbo: sorry to hear about that on the SMP units. Hardware or software issues?

10: Those units do suck for points, but as somebody with heart prblems, I appreciate your contribution. My slower single core machines have been getting them non-stop also.

On the mobo? cause i's bran new as well as the GPU, both less then 4 months old. Everything else works fine except 3D. I've checked heat and evn lowered the CPU OC. Cpu folding works fine.
