    Problem connecting with a D-Link DWL-G630 Adapter

I am running a LINKSYS Gateway WAG54P2 Router and trying to connect my Dell Inspiron 3800 Laptop with a D-LINK DWL-G630 Adapter.
The adapter is displaying the LINKSYS network but states the network may no longer be in range when I try to connect. There is a 80% signal displayed.

The adapter will connect to an unknown open network in my area but not mine. I have WPA2-PSK security, disabling security is no different.

I can connect to the Gateway from the Laptop with a LINKSYS WUSB54GC USB Adapter but need to use the DLINK adapter.

I have tried everything I know, help would be appreciated.

    Regards

    John

I seem to have sorted the D-LINK problem, not sure how. I only input the same setting.

D-LINK setting up procedure is poor compared to LINKSYS.
