Rich, your system isn't showing...
Up near the top of the page, you'll see a link to "UserCP". Click on that, then click on 'Edit Options', and scroll down to 'Display your system specs' and change the drop down box to 'yes'.
THEN we can see your system 'nStuff.
I made the same mistake...That's how I know...
bah i filled it in the other day lol damn cp
Meridian - Good day! I just built a new (and my first Intel - sorry AMD) rig a couple of weeks ago using DDR3 memory (crazy I know but I couldn't help myself).![]()
I was able to run the 8M execution at 3:01.281. I wonder if my use of DDR3 is making a difference? All my specs are current in "My System" details.

P.S. It's been quite some time (2+ yrs) since my last post/vist to these forums. It's nice to see the same quality as I remember.![]()
HSD, you're running just a tad faster than I am (380 X 9 vs. my 374 X 9) and your time is about 8 seconds faster. So if I had to guess, I would say that the ddr3 is likely not making much difference at this point. Or if it is, it's not much different compared to ddr2 at this time.
Welcome back. I, too, went from being an AMD builder to Intel (see bottom of sig). It felt strange at first, but hey, these c2ds just beat all. However, I'm crossing my fingers that the AMD Phenom kicks butt. I just love the competition. Otherwise we'd all be blindly loving our mediocre Netburst chips!!
