    Yup, ordered one yesterday.

Might order another one by the end of the week, we will see.

Price drops are due from AMD on the 9th, and it should be 20.00 cheaper.

What's the difference between Manchester and Toledo cores? Is any of them better in overclockability and/or power consumption? Both are described as 2x512 MB, 90nm parts, yet there's a considerable price difference.

939 is as low as it will go. AMD is no longer making them. AM2 should drop considerably.

I've heard Manchester overclocks a little better. Just a few days ago the Toledo was $109.

I'm trying to figure out if I should get one more 939 part or maybe switch over to AM2. Might be too expensive to go AM2 though because I'd need 2 GB of new RAM.

Does everyone use Artic Silver 5 these days?

The price appears to be $96 now if you click the product link.

Are you guys sure prices on the 939 CPUs won't drop on April 9?

I'm having great success with these sticks - they've dropped $20 since I bought em 2 weeks ago:

    Wintec 2 x 1gb DDR2-800 - $134.99 (5 eggs!)

    Great ram.

They've done 900mhz 5-5-5-11 and 800 at 4-4-4-11 memtest and prime95 stable. I havn't pushed them farther... Burning them in at 800mhz 4-4-4-14 @ 2.1v for the last week or 2. Dual prime95 overnight and 10 passes of memtest says stable to me... WHAT A DEAL!
Never used Wintec, but the way things look - they can count on another purchase from me in the future!

I have some Adata DDR500 if anyone needs some ram for their 939 A-data has been good stuff in the past- was sad to see all the DOA and "not stable at rated speeds & timings" reviews for their ddr2 stuff on the egg or I would have gone with them

    Pretty sure.

Since they are not making them anymore they can't announce a price drop. That would be impossible

AM2 will hit rock bottom prices.

I just received 1 of 3 today. I picked up a LCBKE0643SPMW Toledo. This should overclock nicely to 2.6ghz if not more

I hope the other two can overclock just as well. I will be throwing it in my main system tonight.

I've been watching these every day for price changes. Nothing happening. I'll probably order one soon.
