    played a match finally as a marine, kind of underwhelmed.

    definitely not going to pre-order wanna see what other people think. if the sp is good i'll get it, but the mp is pretty corny right now.

    I just played the demo (on 360) and wasn't very impressed with it. The single player campaign might be fun, but I wouldn't spend more than $20 on the game.

    Only thing that put me off so far, is the fact that the demo is only p2p matchmaking (looking at you mw2). I know the final product will be using dedicated servers though, but that's about my only problem with it.

    Even in DX9 mode, it looks really pretty. Can't wait for DX11.

    Even though people say marines would get their asses handed to them (or such words to that effect), I enjoy playing as them.

    Has anyone tried playing with a xbox 360 controller yet? There's support for it, but I want to see what anyone else thinks of it before I give it a go.

    Meh, graphics are great even for DX 9.
    But what on earth were they smoking to put the most n00bish of mp game modes in the demo? Deatchmatch!?!?!?

    They could have at least put team deathmatch. But no they claim 7 multiplayer modes and out of all they have to put deathmatch.

    Yes, but as a consumer, wouldn't you rather try before you buy? If you had bought it, and you didn't like it, there's not much you can do about it, and they still get your money.

    They could've released a single player demo instead, but they didn't. In any case, everyone has different opinions, so we'll see what the reviews and mass public say ;D
