    PC Perspective Podcast 001 - 5/3/07

Hey guys, I wanted you all to be the first to know that we have started the new PC Perspective podcast today with episode 001!

We are very excited about this new addition to the PC Perspective catalog even though our first episode has a couple of rough edges on sound quality and timing. I still think the effort can be heard and we promise to make it better and better each week as we continue it.

For now, you can get the latest updates on the podcast by visiting my Weblog here: http://www.pcper.com/weblog.php or by direcetly accessing the RSS feed here: http://www.pcper.com/rss/podcasts.rss

If you all have any comments or questions or suggestions for us, please let us know!

    We're in the jungle.

I blame it being the first cast, but there seemed to be a few 'umms' at the start.

I enjoyed the talk about power usage in homes, and the tidbits about Wise One.

When you guys review a harddrive and discuss the review on the podcast, will you please have special guest BWM to give his thoughts on it?

I really like the times on the Program Schedule. Very nice to skip to the parts I'm interested in. I also like each section staying to around 3 or 4 minutes. It will be nice to download and speed up the recording so I can listen to the whole thing on my drive to work.

THanks -- yeah the "um"s were pretty bad on my part... and I actually was able to cut a lot of them out. Something I'll be working on for next week.

radio shows have 2-3 presenters for a reason you dont have time for the 'um's if you 'um' the other guy(s) will say something (take from your airspace ) asap!

and bm on the show..hmm...i dun knowe there might be kids listening

Good information Something I can listen to while at work.

Here is some constructive criticism -

Just like when I am up on stage, keep the downtime to a minimum. Whether that is "um's," "ah's," or just breaks in between dialogue.

For the first podcast I think it is great.

I really regret not being able to make it to the podcast as I would have loved to elaborated on the Asus G2P.

Excellent first podcast. I'm looking forward to the 2nd installment.

Agree. Setting aside minor technical issues that are easy to resolve?
    I was actually pleasently surprised.

As I mentioned to Ryan and the guys involved? Im 100% sold on the concept. The guys get real comfortable with how its done?
I believe its gonna get some great reaction.

Then maybe theyll mess with video format down the road.

    Very deal I think.

And a real plus I noticed? All three guys interact really well in this format.

Nice to see a tech site doing this. Unlike a video review, it's a pretty small download, which is good for those suckers still on 56k (or worse!). Yeah, it's definitely a little rough, but it's nice to hear some enthusiast dialoge. It's nice to be able to hear some tech programming that's not Kim Kommando.
