Was close by to Mobile about a month ago; Pensacola,Fl. IP is closing part of a plant there, and a group of us were down there looking at machines. If you are ever there, you have to go to McGuire's Irish Pub and get a steak; or the $100 hamburger! :P

I was near there in Destin at the end of March.... just about every hamburger cost $100.... but the fresh oysters were $4 a dozen!

I ate seafood for evey meal down there. I could get used to that.

Are you in the paper industry? I was for ~15 years. Back then it was Champion, Pensacola and we had a bit of equipment there.

Yeap, thats where we went. International Paper bought Champion. IP is closing the converting part and going to brown paper. I work at IP here in Sumter; converting only plant.

Sumter is actually East of Myrtle; roughly 1 hour drive. Sumter is better known for Shaw Air Force Base.
