    BF2142 doesn't deserve my vote. It's boring.
It's taking over almost as bad as BF2 when it came out. Hard to try and play anything else here as the interest isn't there for many other games.

I would show up for a retro gaming night, quake or UT, but we don't have them anymore.

I too am looking forward to UT3 and Quake Wars but I don't think the games we play have to be heavily team oriented. I mean we used to play a lot of DM in UT2004 and it was fun just fragging your online friends. And we also had tons of fun with UT2004 CTF - even enough to support a Fragging Frogs tournament with tons of participants.

Our game nights don't have to be about the game. It should be more about the fun we have playing together as a group regardless of what game we play. That's really the purpose of the Fragging Frogs.

I enjoy playing BF2142 like I did BF2 before that but I'm in no way opposed to playing other games. My main problem is time. I really only have room for 2 maybe 3 game nights a week - if my wife is feeling generous

Couldn't have said it better. We really need to get back to the basics and play for fun...

Indeed. I don't care if only 4 people show up, as long as it's fun.

we'll I'll load my copy of UT 2004 and am willing to play it at least until Quake wars hopefully. I wont hold my breath on a release this summer of the new UT.

Gotta stick with the outdoor maps on UT the indoor ones unfortunately make me a bit dizzy. that was one of the reasons I never got into Mutiplayer Prey.

Prey MP was fun. We have played that a few times before. I know a lot of people still play CSS. The nice thing about Prey, CSS & UT2004 is that anyone with a decent internet connection can host a private game. No need to use public servers. I'd be happy to host any of those games for a game night.

Well no surprise but BF2142 is the winner. Even so be aware that in the future we are going to try and schedule game nights for non-BF games you may be interested in playing. Stay tuned.
