    Re: Palestinian |Hamas | Fatah | Gaza |West Bank |

Shame the number does not have a few more zeros after it. I'd like to see then entire West Bank covered with new developments. Better that then handing the ground over to the terrorist breeders and have Gaza part duex. Linky-dinky is an AFP bit so you know it'll have a Pally friendly tilt to say the least.

    . . .
Settlements in both the West Bank and east Jerusalem are viewed as illegal under international law and major stumbling blocks to peace as they are built on land the Palestinians want for their own state.
    . . .
Yawn... "occupied West Bank"... "It's illegal to build on your own land"... SSDD from the leftist media outlets. Hope Israel moves right on in and does whatever the hell they want.

    Damn fuggin fantastic!

State Department freezes Obama’s $221m gift to Palestinians

Former US President Barack Obama, in his waning hours, quietly released $221 million to the Palestinian Authority (PA), which Congress had been blocking.

The Trump administration announced it is freezing the move.

The State Department is reviewing the last-minute decision by former Secretary of State John Kerry to send $221 million dollars to the Palestinians.

Kerry formally notified Congress that State would release the money Friday morning, just hours before President Donald Trump took the oath of office.

The funds — supposedly intended for reconstruction in Gaza and good governance programs for the Palestinian Authority — were being blocked by at least two Republican lawmakers— Ed Royce (R-CA), the chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, and Kay Granger (R-TX), who sits on the House Appropriations Committee — in response to Palestinian attempts to join international organizations, from which it intended to launch more international campaigns against Israel and before a peace deal with Israel.

Such holds are generally respected but are not legally binding.

When asked about the transfer by a reporter during Tuesday’s press briefing, White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer said that “[Trump] is very concerned about how taxpayer money is spent, whether it’s sent overseas and what we get for it in terms of the relationship or our support for a democracy or aid to another country for their defenses. But he’s going to be examining all aspects of the budget… He’s going to make sure that every deal, every dollar that is spent by the government is done in a way that respects the American taxpayer.”

We'd get a lot more cooperation from the terrorist breeders if we stopped paying them anything at all. Let the Saudis and their pals fund them completely if they are so worried. Or better yet, let them all migrate there.

Hey Hamas.. go eff yourself. Hope we make the move.

Hamas warns Trump not to move embassy to Jerusalem

A Hamas spokesperson is warning President Donald Trump that following through with his promise to move the U.S. Embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem would "add more oil on the fire" in the region, Al Jazeera reported on Wednesday.

"[Trump] has to make a choice whether he wants to create peace in the region or he wants to add more oil on the fire," Osama Hamdan, the spokesman for Gaza-based Islamic militant group, told the news outlet.

He added that Palestinians will not "abandon Jerusalem" and will not "abandon their rights."

During his presidential campaign, Trump promised to move the U.S. Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem in an effort to demonstrate U.S. commitment to its ally.

Last week, White House press secretary Sean Spicer hinted that the Trump team has not fully evaluated the potential move. He told The New York Times that the administration is "at the very beginning stages of even discussing the subject."

Trump Admin, Congress Behind Effort to Cut U.S. Aid to Palestinians

Bill would stop taxpayer support to Palestinian government

The White House is signaling its support for a new congressional effort to cut all U.S. funding to the Palestinian Authority due to its continued support of terrorism against Israelis and Americans, according to senior lawmakers and senior White House officials.

Leading lawmakers in the House and Senate gathered Tuesday on Capitol Hill to introduce legislation that would cut all U.S. funding to the Palestinian government, which has been criticized for providing financial incentives to terrorists who kill American and Israeli civilians.

The White House signaled its support for the legislation in a vast departure from the Obama administration, which worked against similar efforts when in power.

A senior White House official familiar with the effort told the Free Beacon that the Trump administration welcomes this effort and will sign it into law if it passes Congress.

"The Palestinian Authority's use of its resources to provide material support for terrorism—indiscriminately targeted at American and Israeli civilians—is a grotesque example of how well-intentioned U.S. generosity can be turned against us," a senior White House official told the Free Beacon.

The legislation, which aims to tighten the financial noose on the Palestinian government and force it to abandon its practice of paying terrorists, is a first step to reforming the notoriously corrupt government, the official said.

"This legislation highlights practical steps the PA can take to demonstrate a real commitment to ending the vicious cycle of hatred and violence that has prevented the Palestinian people from the prosperity and security they could otherwise be enjoying," the official said.

The new legislative effort, titled the Taylor Force Act after an American who was killed in a Palestinian terror attack, cuts off all U.S. aid to the Palestinians as a direct response to its longstanding policy of paying salaries to terrorists and supporting those imprisoned for terrorist attacks.

"We can't continue to financially support a government who looks to the so-called martyrs schedule," said Sen. Roy Blunt (R., Mo.), who is spearheading the effort alongside Sens. Lindsey Graham (R., S.C.) and Tom Cotton (R., Ark.).
"It's an outrageous concept to be in law anywhere," Blunt said. "You can either stop doing what you’re doing or you won't have our money at least to do it with."

"We shouldn't allow killers and ruthless attackers to become recognized as martyrs in a system that we're part of," Blunt added.

The Palestinian Authority receives around $300 million in aid annually from U.S. taxpayers. Lawmakers backing the bill expressed concern that at least a portion of this money is funding the Palestinian government-backed policy of paying salaries to terrorists imprisoned in Israeli jails.

"Most Americans have no idea this is a problem," Graham said. "Not only are Israelis victims of this practice, Americans are victims of this practice. We're going to change this. We're going to get the Palestinian Authority's attention by withholding their money."

Graham also noted that "anti-Semitism is on the rise" in America. The bill represents an effort to push back against this.
"I want people to understand who America is when it comes to the one and only Jewish state," Graham said.
Sen. Ted Cruz (R., Texas), who has long backed similar efforts, told the Free Beacon it is long past due for Congress to take the lead on this effort now that Obama administration officials can no longer lead efforts to block it.

"After eight years of the Obama administration, the U.S. must take long overdue action to hold the Palestinian leadership accountable for incentivizing and rewarding acts of terrorism," Cruz told the Free Beacon. "Roughly $300 million annually is provided in monthly salaries and benefits to terrorists jailed in Israel, their families, and the families of those who died committing such horrific atrocities against Israeli and American citizens, including Taylor Force. Enough is enough. We must stand up for victims of Palestinian terrorism. No more U.S. taxpayer dollars should be provided until the Palestinian leadership stops engaging in this heinous practice. The incitement and glorification of terrorism must end."

    Re: Palestinian |Hamas | Fatah | Gaza |West Bank |

Israel responds to the "hunger strike" organized by the terrorist murderer the NY Slimes opened it's oped pages to a few days ago. Ya.. the same guy the Slimes misremembered to mention the guy penning the oped was a convicted murder currently doing time for his sh*tty deeds.

Apparently this guy might be next in line to lead these terrorist breeders. Your partners in peace as it were...

Israeli protesters barbecue outside prison where Palestinian terrorists on hunger strike

Hoping smells would waft into the prison.

Terrorist mastermind Marwan Barghouti has organized a mass hunger strike by over 1000 imprisoned Palestinian terrorists.

He announced the hunger strike in The NY Times, which initially refused to list in his bio that he was in prison for 5 murders, NY Times gives Palestinian terrorist Marwan Barghouti platform to announce hunger strike. Barghouti is considered a leading candidate to become president of the Palestinian Authority after Mahmoud Abbas, and the hunger strike is seen as a way to position himself politically.

The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs detailed Barghouti’s terror activities:
    1. Marwan Barghouti Served as Secretary General of Fatah in Judea, Samaria and Gaza, a member of the Palestinian legislature, head of the Tanzim, and the founder of the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades which has carried out a large number of deadly terrorist attacks killing scores of Israelis and wounding hundreds.

    2. In the framework of his activities, he has received large amounts of funds from different sources both inside and outside Israel. Among these sources is the Palestinian Authority. The specific allocations of these funds were authorized by the actual signature of Yassser Arafat. These funds were used by Marwan Barghouti to finance many activities carried out by terror cells in the West Bank.

    3. Marwan Barghouti served as the most senior official in the Al-Aqsa Brigades. Nasser Avis, who was recently captured in Samaria, and Ahmed Barghouti, who was Marwan Barghouti’s personal assistant, reported directly to him. These two served as his operational officers and, under the initiative of Marwan Barghouti, launched dozens of attacks, including a large number of suicide bombings within Israel.

    4. The following are some of the more heinous terror attacks for which he is responsible:

    • Jun 12, 2001 – The murder of a Greek Orthodox monk on the road to Ma’ale Adumim.
    • Jan 17, 2002 – The shooting attack during a bat mitzva celebration at a banquet hall in Hadera. Six Israelis were killed in this attack, 26 were injured.
    • Jan 22, 2002 – The shooting spree on Jaffa Street in Jerusalem. Two Israelis were killed, 37 wounded.
    • Feb 25, 2002 – The shooting attack in the Jerusalem residential neighborhood of Neve Ya’acov. One Israeli policewoman was killed, 9 Israelis were wounded.
    • Feb 27, 2002 – The murder of an Israeli at a coffee factory in the Atarot industrial zone of Jerusalem.
    • Feb 27, 2002 – The suicide attack perpetrated by Daryan Abu Aysha at the Maccabim checkpoint in which two policeman were injured.
    • Mar 5, 2002 – The shooting spree at the Tel Aviv Seafood restaurant. Three Israelis were killed, 31 wounded.”

The whitewash of Barghouti’s past was met with such derision that the NY Times issued a clarification and a (meaningless) reprimand from the Public Editor, An Op-Ed Author Omits His Crimes, and The Times Does Too.
As part of the public relations campaign, Palestinians demanded the world “save” terrorist hunger strikers from their own hunger strike.

In that post, we documented how Israeli authorities had isolated Barghouti and transferred some prisoners to other prisons. But some Israelis are taking matters into their own hands.

Members of a “far right” Israeli party have set up a barbecue outside the prison in the hope the smell will reach the hunger-striking prisoners, The Jerusalem Post reports:
National Union activists held a barbecue to taunt Palestinian prisoners on hunger strike Thursday.

The youth branch and secretary-general of the far-right party, which has two representatives in Bayit Yehudi, Agriculture Minister Uri Ariel and MK Bezalel Smotrich, set up grills outside the Ofer Prison to “celebrate the hunger strike” and “break the spirit” of the strikers, in hopes that the smell of the meat wafts into the prison.
The prisoners “will enjoy the breathing in the smoke and suffer from the smell of the meat and show them that we will not give in to their whims.”

The group also called on the government “not to surrender to the oppressor terrorists and act with full force to free the captives [Hadar] Goldin and [Oron] Shaul,” who are presumed dead and whose bodies are being held by Hamas in Gaza.
