Where & What is Your W/C Reservoir Poll

While trying to figure out what kind of reservoir I wanted to use, it became apparent that there are several different types and there by locations involved. So just for S & Gs I thought I’d do a poll to see the what and where on these things. For you “rabid” W/C aficionados with more than one system with different types hopefully the poll will let you pick more than one if applicable. If not, use your “primary” system. Also it would be nice if you would post the whys and wherefores on your choice(s).

    mounted internally with these.

Looks cool in my stacker 830, has a hole for a uv light to plug in the top/bottom, glows cool UV green

Other, none, Just a T fitting and tubing, sealed at the end.
There is no need for a reservoir.

Other, T-line and fitting. Reservoir doesnt add to cooling, only makes it easier to bleed, which is only done once anyway.

T line, I've run with a reservoir and a T line and I much prefer the T line arrangement personally.

T-Line and Danger Den Fil Port Res when I was running water.

I preferred it to a normal res.

I still use a res (see post above), Not sure I like the idea of a T-line only, how does it effect temps? I can see the advantage espically in the weight of the case.

Temps with only a T Line are the same as temps with a res. THere is no difference one way or another. The only benefit of a res is bleeding the system.

Re: Where & What is Your W/C Reservoir Poll

    Thanks y'all for the responses.

In regards to the "T” vs. the Reservoir thing, kinda sorta noticing a trend……. I’ve posted this poll at several sights to get max coverage in minimal time. What I’ve noticed is the predominately “European” site likes res’s, but the “US” sites seem to prefer the “T” setup.

BTW webwolf I would have picked "Internal" free standing as I was refering to location. Would like to see a pic of it inplace!
