Dr. Seuss for 2011:I do not like this Uncle Sam, I do not like his health care scam. I do not like these dirty crooks, or how they lie and cook the books. I do not like when Congress steals, I do not like their secret deals. I do not like ex-speaker Nan, I do not like this 'YES WE CAN'..I do not like this spending spree, I'm smart, I know that nothing's free. I do not like their smug replies, when I complain about their lies. I do not like this kind of hope. I do not like it. Nope, nope, nope!
The worst enemies of socialism and communism are the 1st amendment, 2nd amendment and the middle class. They cannot survive unless they control the message, remove all means to resist and make the middle class disappear. The middle class is too independent, more likely to think for themselves and far more likely to resist/rebel.
^ amen !

Unfortunately trolls do not hibernate.

I was watching the Fox coverage of the Murdock’s (father & son) testimony this morning. I must say it was stuffy and dreadfully boring until the pie thrower made his appearance…![]()
There is a line.
2. NO PERSONAL INSULTS/ABUSE. This site is provided to you for free, and you are free to disagree with other posters, but if you stoop to personal abuse or attacks, your post(s) will be deleted. If you ARE insulted then report the post...PLEASE do NOT retaliate. If you do retaliate you are no better then the abuser and you too will treated as an abuser as stated above. Retaliation by anyone against another is in no way showing any respect for yourself, the person who offended you, nor the rest of the readers of the forums.
Please do not cross.
"We say in our platform that we believe that the right to coin money and issue money is a function of government....
Those who are opposed to this proposition tell us that the issue of paper money is a function of the bank and that the government ought to go out of the banking business. I stand with Jefferson rather than with them, and tell them, as he did, that the issue of money is a function of the government and that the banks should go out of the governing business."
William Jennings Bryan.
^^^^ Does that apply to the other "Moderators" as well? Just wondering.....

I'm having trouble figuring out who insulted who and who retaliated against who, oh well. Myself I prefer one man father to son scoldings. It's extra special when one man thinks he speaks for everybody.
I think the rules are in desperate need of modernization they hardly fit the times and or the mood of the country. A kinder gentler form of politics no longer exists your elected politicians and the media have seen to that... Of course that's just my humble meaningless opinion.
Actually, Tuck- I've identified no one. My post is more preventative. I sensed that some were standing on the line trying to bait someone to cross it so it's just a caution. I think some here have an idea of what would really set me off, but I've allowed people a chance to correct themselves before it gets out of hand.
It's sort of like bouncing- usually go by what sets people off. Sometimes just walking by is enough ....

Unfortunately as a moderator I do not have the option of using the ignore button. If so, I would be able to filter out the mindless drivel that certain un-named posters seem to continue to fire, unprovoked, towards me. Sometimes I let my emotions get the best of me.
