Apparently Zimmerman liked to call the police a lot...like 26 times in the last year or so:

This story came out about a week ago, but damned if its the first I heard. Apparently Zimmerman liked to call the police to report children playing in the street and and to report open garage doors. I'm guessing his "frustration" that h has expressed about the police showing up on time probably has a lot to do with the fact that he was always calling 911 to report something.

I also just read on CNN that the homeowners association encouraged people to contact Zimmerman rather than the police if they needed to report trouble, but since MSM outlets have completely droppes the ball on this one, I'm sticking to local sources as "fact" for now.

He was not the only one calling the coppers. From the link I posted a few back:

According to the Miami Herald, Zimmerman had placed 46 of those calls since the beginning of 2011, "to report disturbances, break-ins, windows left open and other incidents; nine of those times, he saw someone or something suspicious". Sanford police chief Bill Lee stated, "Mr. Zimmerman was not acting outside the legal boundaries of Florida Statute by carrying his weapon when this incident occurred."

I'm not surprised about the amount of calls and little to no response from the Sanford police. You can get away with murder in Florida... Casey Anthony proved that .

Look at this case this way... Martin was an athlete. In football you're taught to stand your ground, so he probably felt threatened by Zimmerman (who is bigger than him) while he was being followed and took him head on. The facts on how Zimmerman shot him have yet to be known. We won't know for sure how it went down until the trial and even then the only person who "knows what happened" is Zimmerman.

If Zimmerman shot him after the scuffle and Martin was trying to get away prior to getting shot, then that is not self defense and Zimmerman is screwed.

I don't see the point in bringing up Martin's history, as well as Zimmermans personal history (aside from the number of calls to 911).

They do much more than that and the idea that they keep people out isn't that true. They allow little fifedoms to grow just about anywhere. Enclaves of "just like us" behind the safety of the gates.

A big truck just drove in, loaded up and drove off. We watched it on video later... couldn't make out the license plates. It was never solved.

Where is the denouncing of the Black Panther Party's bounty on Zimmerman by the government?

Isn't there some kind of law against putting bounties on the heads of citizens?

Seriously. I don't know if there is, but you would think there would be.

I mean, ya can't say "slut" but its OK to issue a bounty, dead or alive, for a citizen?

Why do 911 dispatchers ask that? I've had to call 911 twice for unrelated things and both times, the dispatcher asked if the "suspect" was white or black.

Actually, there's nothing I could do beyond what you've already accomplished yourself. It's ok to give yourself some credit here.

hmm, it getting pretty obvious that Zimmerman's story is in question yet he still walks free.

None of the racist stories regarding this child, including the wrong pictures first posted on the neo nazi site that went viral with the right, have any bearing other than to justify a shooting.

Even the counter leak of individuals in that local police department were saying they felt arrest was warranted but denied.

This is a media circus, one deservingly brought upon itself by Florida.

The only problem is the media is not the proper place to deal with a shooting.

Considering the man claimed that he was getting his head bashed into the pavement and had suffered a broken nose, I'd say that video doesn't help his cause.

Apparently the chief of police got waken up in the middle of a Sunday night to go out to the scene himself. And Zimmerman's dad is a former judge.

Nothing to see here, move along.....
