^^^ Agree. The "logic" employed is some kind of stupid.

Fast-Food Worker Hours Cut, New Health Care Law Blamed
It's going to be quite amusing to see the number of food stamp recipients continue to rise, probably at a rate much faster than before now due to Obamacare, all the while listening to the MSM shouting from the rooftops at how great the economy is doing. The first comment under that article Scoot is proof positive of just how freakin' brain dead the average Obama voter is. A business is FORCED to cut their employees hours because they can not absorb yet another "fee" from the government so what do the Obamabots do? They claim the employer is evil and hates their employees of course! Other Bots chime in with the "well der, they don't know how to run a business if they have to cut de employees hours!" Yeah, you're probably right. Wendy's, Taco Bell, Denny's. These are definitely examples of businesses that have no clue what they are doing!

Hmmm. Good to see despite the negative perceptions theyve endured over the past 4 years. Oil Production in US getting to some historically high levels

^^I really have to wonder what the reasons will be in 2016. Maybe ther still high unemployment will become a function of our failure to reelect Obama to a 3rd term. Beats saying we were wrong.

And here is CNN's obvious "pitch" around flu effects etc.

^^^ It also affects the unemployed. They stay at home when they're sick just like when they aren't sick. The government should reimburse them because they don't have an employer to cover their sick pay.

That may be sarcastic and sound idiotic, but its rises to the level of absurdity we see from these "studies".

There was some hub-ub over the UFCW (United Food and Commercial Workers - my former grocery union, ironically) trying to unionize Jimmie Johns about 6-12 months ago. Their website showed two ideal Jimmie Johns sandwiches and said "One of these was made by a Jimmie Johns worker. The other was made by a Jimmie Johns worker who was working with the flu because Jimmie Johns doesn't have paid sick leave."

Yeah, that'll really make the public support your workers. Tell them that they're creeps making sandwiches while sick.

Also, appaearanty Jimmie Johns (the founder/CEO is big Republican) has busted everybody down to 28 hours starting January 1st. I am a "fan" of Jimmie Johns on Facebook and the comments are flooded with employees bitching about how they can't pay their bills anymore. Sorry, stupid, you voted for Obama because you wanted free abortions, so you reap what you sow.

We just recently had a couple Jimmie Johns open in Colorado Springs over the last year or so. I think it's time I go down and support their business as they struggle in this wonderful post Obamacare environment. As is always the case, the workers are almost completely clueless as to just how hard it is to run a business and do nothing but bitch about how bad the owner is if he has to cut employee's hours because of the clueless president they helped to elect.

    Re: Economic News/Discussion

Yet another example of the naivety of the typical employee and the things they feel like they should be entitled to just because.

    From Huffy Mom's post

A Taco Bell employee in Guthrie, Okla., is speaking out after the fast-food franchise cut her hours to avoid costs associated with Obamacare, reports News9.

For Johnna Davis, a single mother of three who saw her hours fall in December to 28 hours a week, the change not only means a smaller paycheck. It also strips her of the right to receive health benefits from Taco Bell, a right that would have kicked in under Obamacare in 2014 had the franchise continued to give Davis a full-time schedule of hours.

Owners of fast-food franchises across the nation are blind-siding hourly employees by cutting their weekly hours -- and, in turn, their paychecks -- to dodge Obamacare costs.

    http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/0...tml?hl_enabled

Bold emphasis is mine. Really? REALLY? It's the owner's that are blind siding these poor employees with reduced hours. Yeah sure, NO one saw this coming! Just vote for Obama and you'll all get FREE healthcare! Where will the money come from? Who cares? Probably those super rich franchise owners.

What they're learning is that healthcare really is a privilege, and NOT a right.
