Moto will not be updating the DroidX2 to ICS which is totally BS because it is fully capable of handling it. I think some people have installed ICS on Droid X2 phones, but I really don't know if it's true or how well it works. But I do know my next phone will NOT be a Motorola for that reason and that reason alone.

I have since installed the Eclipse ROM on my phone and it does run noticeably better in every measurable way, but it's still not a stable or reliable as my iPhone 3GS was.
As for iOS, it's very easy to use, very stable and reliable. But all of that comes at the expense of limited functionality..... just my .02.

My wife's old Samsung Vibrant, a phone which Samsung said wasn't capable of running Gingerbread properly, is currently running Jelly Bean 4.2.2. It runs it just fine, albeit slower than my Nexus 4. It seems there are 4.1.2 roms for the X2. Give it a shot!

In the week ending February 23, the advance figure for seasonally adjusted initial claims was 344,000, a decrease of 22,000 from the previous week's revised figure of 366,000. The 4-week moving average was 355,000, a decrease of 6,750 from the previous week's revised average of 361,750.
The advance seasonally adjusted insured unemployment rate was 2.4 percent for the week ending February 16, a decrease of 0.1 percentage point from the prior week's revised rate. The advance number for seasonally adjusted insured unemployment during the week ending February 16 was 3,074,000, a decrease of 91,000 from the preceding week's revised level of 3,165,000. The 4-week moving average was 3,155,000, a decrease of 35,500 from the preceding week's revised average of 3,190,500.

UNADJUSTED DATA

The advance number of actual initial claims under state programs, unadjusted, totaled 307,589 in the week ending February 23, a decrease of 43,208 from the previous week. There were 334,242 initial claims in the comparable week in 2012.

Them dudes could have passed a one sentence bill eliminating/suspending the sequester....if they wanted to....but they don't. The lone attempt by the dems in the senate to do anything was filibustered by some more of them dudes (clutching my pearls).

Its cool....if nothing else the republicans are now on the hook for whatever happens economically....at least that's what the polls say.

Obama's Sequestration plan works to perfection

Anyone who is up in arms about Obama being the Bully-in-Chief and having their heart strings pulled because one of his White House toadies threatened a couple of liberal media types need to get your heads out of your rears!

We're talking about second term full-on hyper socialist agenda mode for team Obama. And what just took place at 12:00am this morning was the lynch pin in Obama's plan to cover up his crashing of the economy by successfully blaming sequestration and the pending economic catastrophe on the Republican Party.

With people like Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity falling all over themselves to call out Barack the bully and all his toadies for doing what they've been doing for the past four years is just amazing to watch. It seems as if all the so called "leaders" of the conservative movement are just as "low information" as the 51percenters who voted Obama in for a second term.

Sequestration is nothing compared to what Obama has already set in motion for our economy. Every government accounting office and the majority of leading economists have been saying for the last several years that our economic trajectory is unsustainable and if left unchecked, America will eventually go the way of Greece. And nothing has changed!

So why would the Obama White House come up with the idea of sequestration and plan not to address it until the 11th hour when they knew nothing would be done to stop it?

Here's where you stop and think about it.

Just yesterday Obama said that we may not be going over a cliff, but sequestration will start us rolling downhill. Really - and our economy hasn't already been rolling downhill for the last four years?

So there you have it folks. Obama's not stupid, he knew the wheels would start coming off the economy sometime this year (as many economists have predicted) and he just spent the last couple of weeks on another blame tour (on our dime) explaining to the low information crowd that the consequences of sequestration will not only do great harm to the economy, but that it's ALL the Republican's fault.


Buckle-up America - the fat lady is starting to clear her throat.

Yup.. the repugs are "on the hook". Your team had full control of gubberment for 1/2 of your messiah's first term and still controls 2/3 with the WH & Senate. They passed the porkulus, a craptastic health care law no one wanted and have not bothered to pass a budget since bamma's been in the WH. Unemployment has been at roughly 8% and over for his entire gawdawful reign. The labor rate is at a historic low and 6~7 million Americans have simply vanished from the workforce. Gubberment dependency is at record levels.

But according to your polls the repuggies are "on the hook" for passing and idea your messiah suggested, passed through the house and Senate and signed into law. Well at least you are focused on exactly what central planning from OFA desires.. therepugs get the blame for your teams incompetence due to a programmed media.

Meanwhile outside pollville the economy sucks, your team still has no f*cking clue what to do other than blame the other guy. Might as well get that "Mission accompliched " outta storage.
