    Re: Economic News/Discussion

^ Certainly worth looking into at some point.

However, let me remind you, the Oober Libberals have been focused on some of the more pressing issues: A few examples for you - Gay Marriage, Health Care, empowering the FDA over Tobacco products, crushing oil and gas projects, eliminating the possibility of any future nuclear power genarating plants, fattening up and extending government entitlements across the board, Bailouts, Blaming Bush, adding tons tons of new government jobs, whining, lots and lots of whining, etc.

Basically, "Hope and Change" at work for our nation.

^ Not just a visit from a couple of federal agents - not enough, that's an American business Icon - better make is a Gestapo like raid.

Waiting here to see if any of our Resident Left Wing chorus comes running in to explain this one away....

Insane when you consider oil is around $93 a barrel.

They've quietly inched it right on back up to $4+ a gallon. Shocking isn't it?

Good thing Obama killed the new pipeline...

It looks like Wall Street thinks Romney is going to win the election.

Gun makers Smith and Wesson and Ruger get downgraded.

As opposed to the pro-gun paradise that Obama will enact if elected to a second term?

I think he's referring to the effect bamma's had on gun sales which to date has resulted in many people buying now/stockpiling.

I was. Honestly, if I were a gun manufacturer, and I knew the incredible amount of sales the Obama presidency had brought me, I'd almost want him to win again! If Romney wins I'd be worried that gun sales would go back down to pre-BO levels.

A solicitation posted by the SSA on the FedBizOpps website asks for contractors to supply 174,000 rounds of “.357 Sig 125 grain bonded jacketed hollow point pistol ammunition.”
One of the highest price hand gun bullets you can buy. Winchester White Box target (FMJ) is $30.00 for 50 rounds. Jacketed hollow points are even more expensive.

Some people call 357 Sig the 9mm magnum caliber. It’s fun to shoot but not the best personal protection caliber.
